UK Sales Manager (Engineering)

Salary: Circa £50,000- £60,000 p.a. dependent on experience + company benefits + Uncapped future commission
We are working exclusively with our client in their search for a motivated and experienced individual to join their team as a UK Sales Manager. The current UK representative is retiring which has created this unique opportunity.
You will be joining a worldwide company with 30 years of experience in tooling, product development and production. They design and manufacture manufacturing tools for plastic, aluminium, zinc and magnesium. Core expertise is moulded part production however they also offer other tooling such as forging, MIM and hard metal sintering, plus a wide range of prototyping for the product development of such parts.
In this role, you will be responsible for sales of the company product, tooling for injection moulding and die-casting and will be able to understand customer requirements to enable suitable manufacturing. You will have the opportunity to provide great solutions and innovations to our customers.
Example of Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue.
- Identify and develop relationships with potential customers.
- Understand customer requirements and provide technical support.
- Negotiate and close deals.
- Monitor sales performance and recommend improvements.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of our products and services.
- Provide accurate and timely reports to management.
- Respond to customer inquiries and coordinate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Experience/ Skills Required
- Previous sales experience is essential.
- Ideally you will have experience in plastic injection moulding, die-casting, foundry or prototyping. Alternatively you will have experience selling engineering solutions to the manufacturing industry.
- Must be able to work from home and travel to client meetings when required.
- Dynamic personality.
- Applicants must be open to occasional international travel when required.
