The Engineer will ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of the machine tool department. Accuracy and attention to detail is needed for this role in order to design and monitor equipment.

Example of Responsibilities:

• Construction of machine tools e.g. Turning and Milling.
• Use a variety of measuring equipment.
• Use Tool sheets for instructions and recording data through a pre setter
• Self-inspecting work to keep quality awareness.
• General maintenance and preventative checks of machinery whilst promoting Health and Safety procedures.

Essential skills:

• Previous experience in a CNC machine environment, minimum of 2 years
• Good understanding of machine tools and their processes.  
• Highly motivated so can work under own initiative.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK.
