Senior Buyer (Engineering)
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum
Position: Permanent, Full-time
Location: Knutsford, Cheshire
Hours: 8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
Benefits: 23 days holiday + bank holidays (Increases with length of service), Pension, Health Cash Plan, Personal Accident Insurance

My client is a market leader within the specialist engineering manufacturing industry. They are looking to hire a Senior Buyer who will be responsible for meeting the supply requirements of their customer base.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Buyer:
- Accountable for the supply of materials/components to meet customer base requirements.
- Ensure cost, delivery, quality, and service needs are met.
- Empowered to make decisions regarding demand and supply timescales, pricing, and supplier selection.
- Adapt swiftly to changing business requirements and challenges.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proficiency in supply chain management and expediting.
- Background in component manufacturing and machining.
- Exceptional negotiation abilities.
- Competence in interpreting technical drawings.
- In-depth knowledge of MRP principles.
- Proficiency in using MS Suite and ERP Software.
