QA Engineer

My client is a dynamic worldwide company specialising in the processing of a variety of metals within the engineering sector. Their innovative components and solutions means they have forged an excellent reputation for quality within the market.

The successful QA Engineer will be expected to assist the Technical Manager in controlling and reporting, non-conformance, corrective and preventative actions to enable continuous improvement. You will liaise with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve and implement quality issues.

Example of Responsibilities:

• Ensure work is completed to BS EN ISO 9001 & AS9100 standards at all times
• Assist in production of non-conformance reports (NCR’s)
• Produce monthly analysis on NCR’s for Quality Manager
• Monitoring of corrective / preventive actions/Continuous improvement.
• Internal auditing
• Represent company in customer and supplier meetings
• Work in collaboration with the manufacturing team to resolve technical issues during production

Essential skills:

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings and specifications with an emphasis on GD&T
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Engineering
• Quality Engineering experience
• IT literate with knowledge of office software such as Word and Outlook
• Must be eligible to work in the UK
