Project Manager (Electrical Products)
Employment type: Permanent, full-time
Location: Near to Stoke Gifford, Bristol
Hours: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: £45,000 – £52,500 p.a. dependant on experience + car allowance + company benefits
Due to continued growth, my client is currently recruiting for a Project Manager with knowledge of electrical products, or electrical engineering, to join their business on a permanent basis.
My client is a manufacturer and distributor of specialist products utilised in the construction sector. They have an excellent reputation in the industry.
The Role
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing projects from initial customer enquiry, through to completion. An example of the responsibilities can be seen below:
- Liaising with manufacturing partners to issue quotes to customers.
- Liaising with manufacturing partners to provide technical detail to customers on schemes.
- Ensuring products are delivered to site on the required date.
- Attending design meetings.
- Liaising with commissioning teams with regards to site attendance programs and issues.
- Arranging RAMS and Commissioning statements.
- Liaising with colleagues about purchase orders, invoicing, and scheduling.
- Attending site meetings.
- Providing technical assistance when required.
Occasional visits to customer sites will be required during the installation and commissioning of products.
Experience/ Skills Required
- Previous experience as a Project Manager is essential.
- Knowledge of electrical products, or a background in electrical engineering is preferred.
- Commercially aware.
- Attention to detail.
- Conscientious, with a positive work ethic.
- Full Uk Driving Licence.
