Passive Fire Estimator
Employment type: Permanent, full-time
Location: Milton Keynes.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm.
Salary: £35,000-£45,000 per annum depending on experience + annual uncapped bonus
Our client is seeking an experienced Passive Fire Estimator / Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis. You will report to the Managing Director and assist the team in delivering passive fire protection services. Project values typically range from £50,000-£200,000.
Example of Responsibilities
- Review tender requirements and provide information to wider commercial team
- Conduct site visits and maintain customer engagement to gather essential project information for correct pricing of works
- Managing customer enquiries, arrange/carry out site surveys and collate information required for tendering/quoting.
- Undertake take-offs and complete bills of quantities, formulate estimate sheets, priced SOW, quotations and qualifications
- Sourcing of costs for suppliers and sub-contractors cost management
Experience/ Skills Required
- Experience within Passive Fire Protection is essential. Ideally as an Estimator/Surveyor however client will consider site staff who are looking to transition to aa surveying role.
- Excellent communication skills
- UK Driving Licence
- Work Permit to work in the UK
