The Role:
Multi-Trade Fabric Technician
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
Location: Luton
Hours: 7.30 to 3.30 Monday to Thursday, 7.30 to 3.00 Friday.
Salary: £40,132 per annum

On-call: 1 week in 5, soon to be 1 week in 6 (overtime rate is paid at x1.5)
My client is currently recruiting for a Multi-Trade Fabric Technician to join their organisation on a permanent basis at their site in Luton. The role will be extremely varied and cover all building fabric maintenance. For this role, you will be working as part of a well-established team.
The Role:

Complete a variety of planned and preventative maintenance across the building which may include:
- flooring works, painting and decorating, ceiling and window maintenance, door and access repairs as well as joinery and tiling work.
- Maintain the building portfolio.
- Perform reactive maintenance when required.
- Replace parts on a like-for-like basis or improve failed products.
- Complete tasks that will enhance customer experience.
- Keep a professional appearance and exemplary behaviour due to being a customer-facing role.
- Precisely record work when required.
Skills/Requirements:
- An NVQ or City & Guilds is desirable for this position however someone with experience in a similar role will be considered.
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety.
- Capability to solve problems.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
