Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer
Employment type: Permanent, full-time
Location: Warrington – Field based role
Salary: £35,000-£40,000 p.a. depending on experience + Van + Fuel Card + Overtime
Hours: 45 hour per week Monday-Friday
On Call: 1 in 6 weeks
Our client is looking for an experienced Air Conditioning (AC) / Chiller Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis in the North West of England. You will work on a mobile basis responsible for the installation, servicing and repair of chillers and air conditioning units. You will work within mobile and static medical facilities.
Example of responsibilities:
- Carry out installation, service, and repair of mobile medical facilities
- Carry out installation, service, and repair of Air Conditioning equipment and Chillers
- Conduct minor repairs from changing locks to light bulbs
- Complete additional tasks as requested by clients/staff on site
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
- Maintain high levels of health and safety standards
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanour
- Continuously develop skills and knowledge for effective performance
- Assist colleagues and management with various tasks as needed
Experience/ Skills Required
- City & Guilds F Gas and ODS Regs (2079)
- NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Refrigeration and Air conditioning would be preferred however not essential
- 17th/18th Edition or some form of electrical qualification would be advantageous however not essential
- Previous experience in commercial settings or within the FM industry
- Full UK driving license
- Flexibility to work on a mobile basis and stay away from home from time to time
- Good understanding of H&S regulations
