Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Contract)

Contract Duration: 8 Weeks – Potentially Longer
Location: Dukinfield
Hours: 8.00am – 4pm, Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £18.00-£21.00 per hour (DOE experience) PAYE or Umbrella (Inside IR35)
As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, your role will providing sickness cover within the existing team. You will be working at a manufacturing site where your focus will be on mechanical repairs and maintenance of production machinery.
Example of Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve faults with bearings, rollers, conveyors, shafts, hydraulics, motors and other associated manufacturing machinery.
- Provide support to existing team where necessary.
Requirements:
- HND/NVQ or equivalent trained in mechanical engineering.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical experience.
- Able to commute to Dukinfield.
On Call: 1 in 3 weeks – Call out is very rare however additional remuneration will be available for call out.
