Graduate AutoCAD Technician (Telecoms)

Employment type: Permanent, full-time

Location: Ferrybridge (Wakefield)

Hours: 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: £24,000 – £25,000 p.a. + company benefits (25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays, Private Healthcare, Life Assurance, Income Protection, Flexible Benefits Platform)

 

We are working exclusively with a rapidly growing survey and design company who operate predominantly in the telecommunications sector.

 

They are currently recruiting for a number of Graduate AutoCAD Technicians to join on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for designing agreed client fibre architectures.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Production of HLD (High Level Design) drawings using AutoCAD software.
  • Production of LLD (Low Level Design) drawings using AutoCAD software.
  • Liaise with Survey Team to ensure all required information is captured accurately within a timely manner.
  • Ensure that relevant stakeholders and authorities are updated, and information is accurately maintained.

 

Skills/ Experience Required

 

  • Degree in Engineering design related subjects e.g., Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering.
  • AutoCAD knowledge is essential, full training will be provided; however, Candidates will need some exposure to AutoCAD in their studies.  
  • GCSE Grade A-C in Maths and English or equivalent.
  • Confident with MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work to timescales.
  • Must be able to commute to the office on a daily basis.
