Field Service Engineer (Mobile Cranes)
Employment type: Permanent, full-time
Location: Dublin (Rathcoole)
Hours: 8-hour days -40 hours per week standard (1.5x rate for next 4 hours, then double rate) First 4 hours on Saturdays @ 1.5 then X2. Door to door pay.
Salary: €50,000 – €58,000 per annum, depending on experience + Van & Benefits

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Mobile Service Engineer to join our clients established team. This position requires a strong background within Heavy Plant, Cranes or Agricultural engineering.

Example of Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic, service, repair, and recovery work on mobile cranes and other construction equipment as needed.
- Support customers with technical issues and solutions across a range of product types.
- Assist in the early stages of processing warranty claims for customers.
- Investigate unique customer-specific issues, occasionally delivering detailed technical reports when requested.
- Take on additional tasks, training, or projects as needed by the company.
- Travel predominantly within the UK and Republic of Ireland, with occasional travel abroad as needed.
- Represent the company in a professional manner, promoting the company’s brand and values.
- Ensure adherence to the company’s safety, quality, and environmental policies.
- Perform any other duties that may be required.
Experience/ Skills Required
- Relevant experience with heavy plant equipment is essential.
- NFQ Level 6/NVQ Level 3 equivalent is desirable.
- Knowledge of mobile crane systems would be beneficial.
- Excellent technical, problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- A valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Ability to travel to customer sites when required.
