Field Service Engineer (Fire Suppression Systems)
Employment type: Permanent, full-time
Location: London (Field based)
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 p.a. depending on experience + company vehicle + fuel card + overtime + excellent company benefits
Due to continued growth, my client is currently recruiting a Field Service Engineer to join their business covering various sites across London.
My client operates in the heavy vehicle sector and this role will involve the installation and servicing of vehicle fire suppression systems on a range of buses and coaches.
The Role
The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for servicing and installing fire suppression systems on a range buses and coaches across various London depots. You will work on a field basis and will be provided with full training.
Experience/Skills Required
- Highly competent in mechanical engineering/mechanics
- Experience in diesel engines, manifolds, turbochargers etc. would be beneficial
- Auto electrical experience would be beneficial
- Comfortable completing required paperwork, including taking photographic evidence and logging
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Full UK Driving Licence
