Forklift Engineer
Employment type: Permanent, full-time
Location: Deeside/North West (Field based)
Hours: 8am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: £28,000-£33,000 p.a. (Depending on experience) + Overtime + Company van. Overtime after 40 hours @ 1.5 and X2 Rate
We are currently working with a highly reputable materials handling equipment supplier, who are seeking a Forklift Truck Engineer to join their organization, due to continued growth and demand. This is a permanent position based in the Deeside/North West area where you will be field based. Perhaps you are currently a Vehicle / Automotive Mechanic looking for a career change? Our client will consider candidates who are interested in moving from Automotive to Material Handling.
Responsibilities
The Forklift Truck Engineer will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of forklift trucks and other material handling equipment on site. The Engineer will also carry out general servicing to the Forklift equipment.
Experience/ Skills Required
- Previous engineering experience within a mechanical engineering role is required. Automotive or Material Handling background is preferred
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and control systems
- Excellent customer service skills
- Full UK Driving License
