Engineering Product Development Manager

Hours: 8:30am – 5pm, Monday – Friday
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum DOE + Bonus, 26 days holiday (+ Bank Holidays) Life Assurance, PMI, Enhanced pension.

The Role/Company
We are currently working with a highly reputable manufacturer of products for the construction and building services sectors. They are seeking an Engineering & Quality Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a permanent position based in High Wycombe. All products are manufactured overseas and shipped to the UK. UK team is responsible for design, R&D, quality and testing of these products.
Example of responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing all engineering and quality projects
- Develop new and existing products to meet business requirements
- Ensure adherence to business Quality Accreditations (such as ISO) and departmental processes
- Manage the Engineering & Quality team as well as external consultants
- Liaise and coordinate with external suppliers and service providers
- Ensure product testing, compliance, and quality are up to standard
Experience/Skills required
- Experience in leading an engineering team through new product development
- Hands-on experience in product design, testing, and implementation
- Familiarity with outsourced manufacturing in the UK and overseas
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
- Ideally experience working with the manufacture of electrical products
- Ideally you will be familiar with ISO accreditations
