CAD Design Engineer
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
Location: Middleton, Office Based
Hours: Monday to Thursday (8.30-5.30) Friday (8.30-3) – Office-based role
Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 per annum

Example of Responsibilities:
- Use Solidworks to improve previous lighting designs and produce virtual models/technical drawings of the products.
- Work alongside the sales team to understand the client briefs and answer any technical queries there may be.
- Put together presentations for design proposals.
- Work with the production team to produce final drawings before they go to manufacturing.
- Communicate with the suppliers to get customized lighting elements as well as pricing and manufacturing information.
- Have knowledge of industry trends which will lead to new product designs.
- Create user guides and manuals for projects.
- Come up with cost-effective solutions.
Experience Required:
- Ideally, 2+ Years experience using Solidworks (Autodesk Inventor will be considered) in a multi-disciplinary engineering sector.
- Basic understanding of Adobe suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail.
- Understand multi-material manufacturing technologies, processes, and installation.
- Able to commute to the office daily.
