Cable Jointing Training Engineer
Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Near Bromsgrove
Hours: 40 Hours, Monday to Friday
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 p.a. dependant on experience + BUPA PMI, 24 days holiday + bank holidays
The Role / Company:
We have an exclusive job opportunity with an industry leading Electrical Training provider. Previous Training experience is not required however you will need to have an experienced background within the electrical distribution sector. Perhaps you are looking to move away from the tools? Or would you prefer a change from fieldwork? The majority of this role will be spent delivering technical training programs.
Example of responsibilities:
- Design training content and materials aligned with the learning objectives.
- Deliver clear learning objectives for each training program.
- Prepare training schedules and classroom agendas.
- Evaluate training programs to determine effectiveness and make improvements.
- Monitor and assess results of the training program, make improvements when necessary.
- Comply with external quality assurance procedures including ISO9001.
Experience / Skills Required:
- Previous experience as a Cable Jointer in the electrical distribution sector for various network providers.
- Authorised for LV and HV (up to 33KV) Cable Jointing.
- Full UK driving license.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and other used office packages.
- Full UK Driving Licence – as occasional training on client premises.
