Business Development Manager (Waste)
Employment Type: Permanent, full-time

Location: Huntstown, Dublin

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: €50,000-€55,000 p.a. Base Salary + Commission + Company Vehicle
We are searching for a Business Development Manager to work for our client who own and manage a new state of the art AD Facility (Anaerobic Digestion). The successful Business Development Manager will develop and manage relationships with both new and existing customers.

Example of Responsibilities as the Business Development Manager
  • Introduce new contracted customers to the business through signed service level agreements
  • Cultivate and maintain effective relationships with both new and existing customers via in-person, telephone, and email communication
  • Identify and attract new clients, boosting company visibility through participation in trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations
  • Collaborate with the technical team to pinpoint and pursue high-value target clients
  • Understand customers’ businesses and needs to deliver tailored sales pitches, negotiate terms, and secure sales agreements
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Management Team to shape and execute business development strategies
  • Coordinate with technical and internal staff to meet customer requirements and optimize production
Experience/ Skills Required
  • Demonstrated experience as a Business Development Manager or Commercial Manager within a related industry
  • Track record of consistently meeting targets
  • Familiarity with the waste management sector is desired
  • Proficiency in building strong rapport with clients and stakeholders
  • Strong time management and planning abilities
  • Competence in utilizing computer systems and familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation aptitude is a must
  • Ability to thrive and deliver results under pressure and within strict timelines
  • Possession of a valid Irish driver’s license
